Obviously there is not much for me to say about this, because there is not really a visible difference between the boss and the company. In fact this is even more true when it comes to the boss’ wife, as the entire thing is part of a tangled web of business interests her family controls. At any rate the boss called me up last night and told me he was going to email an address and that I was supposed to show up there with a rented truck. It was the Signature at Yishun, which is a brand new executive condo operation near Yishun Park. At any rate when I got there the lady was waiting for me and I tagged along as this really good looking girl showed her the showflat. None of the real units seemed to be ready for the tenants and she obviously wanted to see a place that she could move into.
This stuff had nothing to do with me, but the lady got around to that pretty soon. She had a full day planned for me and I was soon wondering why she had not hired someone who would actually know what to do. They were obviously looking at new places, but they had to get the old one ready for the move. They have three kids and since kids do things that they should not, there was some damage to the old place. What she wanted was for me to do first was to repair the drywall, and eventually I figured out what I needed and how to do it. It would have been helpful if I had known that before the fact, because I spent a couple of hours just looking for the information and watching videos that told you how to do the job.
